Social Security & SSI 2025 Calendar: Complete Payment Schedule Through December

Every month, more than 70 million Americans depend on Social Security and Supplemental Security Income (SSI) payments to cover essentials like housing, groceries, and healthcare.

Knowing the payment dates in advance is key for managing your budget, especially as inflation continues to impact everyday costs.

The Social Security Administration (SSA) follows a structured payment calendar, with benefits typically distributed on Wednesdays based on your date of birth.

SSI follows its own schedule and may shift when holidays or weekends overlap.

Here’s the full Social Security and SSI payment calendar for 2025:

SSI Payment Schedule (October – December 2025)

Unlike Social Security benefits, which are paid on Wednesdays based on birthdays, SSI is generally issued on the 1st of each month.

However, when the 1st falls on a weekend or federal holiday, payments are moved to the prior business day.

Here are the remaining SSI payment dates for 2025:

  • October 1 & October 31

  • December 1 & December 31

This means beneficiaries will receive two SSI payments in both October and December, but none in November or January 2026 due to calendar adjustments.
