Wednesday, August 13 – for beneficiaries whose birthdays fall between the 1st and 10th of any month.
Payments will continue on the following Wednesdays for later birth dates.

Who Gets These Payments?

Retirees – Workers who paid Social Security taxes during their careers

People with disabilities – Those who cannot work due to a qualifying condition

Family members – Spouses, children, or survivors of eligible retirees or disabled workers

The amount varies depending on your earnings history and age at retirement.

If you delay claiming until age 70, you could receive up to $5,108 per month, the current maximum benefit.
