May 1 (Thursday) – Supplemental Security Income (SSI) Payment

May 2 (Friday) – Social Security Group 1
Payment for those who:
- Filed for retirement benefits before May 1997

May 14 (Wednesday) – Social Security Group 2
- Payment for those with birth dates between the 1st and 10th of any month.
May 21 (Wednesday) – Social Security Group 3
- Payment for those with birth dates between the 11th and 20th.
May 28 (Wednesday) – Social Security Group 4
- Payment for those with birth dates after the 20th.
May 30 (Friday) – June SSI Payment (Early Payment)
- Since June 1 falls on a weekend, SSI recipients will receive their June benefit early.
